Welcome to HiJinx Boxers! We are happy you
stopped by to visit and hope you like what you see. My husband and
I live in Fallbrook, California. We have four children between us,
Amy, David, Alexandra and Danny. We are the proud grandparents of
5 grandchildren. But, our Boxers have filled the gap in our lives
of having our children grown and living their own lives.
I had my first Boxer when I was 11 years old and have
been hooked since then. My husband and I purchased our first Boxer
when we lived in Chattanooga, TN in 1990. This began our true love
for this breed (is there any other?). We currently have four loving,
demanding and beautiful females; two are our pet Boxers (one a senior rescue),
the other two are our Champions!
In 2003, we decided I needed a new hobby. Thus,
into our household came our two show prospects. We now have one Canadian
Champion, Can. Ch. Kenon's Hocus Pocus (Elsie) and one who just finished,
July 9th, 2005 with 4 MAJORS! - AM CH Kenon's I Believe In Magic (Karli)!
What a whirlwind experience this has been! Many, many miles have
been traveled, many baths, whisker trimming, and nail trimming! We
even bought a mini-van for the DOGS! They are spoiled princesses
and we wouldn't have it any other way!
We would never be where we are without the mentoring
we have received from our Breeder, Ken Lau of Kenon Boxers and the very
wonderful friends we have made at ringside. Win or lose, we love
every show we attend and would never give up (although at times is was
tempting). So much to learn and continual new experiences have given
us the respect for this fun-loving and animated breed. Yes, they
are the clowns of the dog world.
We now plan on beginning our breeding program, starting
with health testing, since the girls are finished with the hopes of an
exceptional puppy to continue in the show ring! Our ultimate goal is to
breed sound, healthy, happy Boxers with great temperaments and beautiful
conformation.
We will live the rest of our lives with our Boxers
in our household as members of our family. Please sign our Guestbook
and keep in touch. Our breeding will be an occasional event at the
present, but who knows what the future will bring.
These elegant, proud and boisterous dogs will always
be a part of our lives. Remember -- we have such a short time with
them, so be sure to give them lots of kisses and hugs.
