Annie is the mainstay of our Boxer household.
She came to us at a mere 6 weeks, and is now 6 years old and is the only
Boxer in our bed (at the present time). Annie is a character and
has weathered the hardest loss a Boxer can indure when her best buddy,
Bridgit, passed from BCM at a very young age of 4 years. Annie and
Bridgit were only 7 months apart in age, and were inseparable. It's
still hard to say "Annie" without saying "Bridgit and Annie". Annie
"knew" when I came home without Bridgit that heartwrenching day in October
2002. She ran from me and hid. In the short time since Bridgit
has been gone, Annie's black mask has turned completely white. I
doubt she will ever bond with another Boxer in her lifetime.
